CarRentalSavers.com Coronavirus Cancellation policy:

All reservations made without providing credit card information can be canceled or modified here - with no cost. We recommend canceling online as call volume may be high. All you need is your trip# and email address.

For prepaid reservations you will have to contact the rental agency directly as we can not cancel those. If you have issues, please contact us for assistance.

Coronavirus Car Rental Tips

If you are renting a car during this time here are our best tips to have a good rental experience:

• Book a non prepaid reservation. These can be easily canceled or modified at no cost here.
• Bring disinfectant wipes for your rental car. Although agencies have announced better cleaning it is better to be safe than sorry.
• Join frequent renter clubs. It speeds tranactions and allows you to avoid human interaction at larger locations.
• Rent the right size vehicle. Although rental agencies may have excess inventory you don't want to be moving luggage between multiple vehicles.
• Don't forget your normal rental procedures. Photos at pickup and dropoff and a careful review of receipts before leaving and after returning.

Are rental agencies taking additional precautions? Yes, see agency statements from above - rental agencies are performing additional cleaning measures.

Are any rental agencies waiving underage fees due to the coronanvirus? Yes, Currently Hertz are waiving underage fees for ages 20-24 through 12/31/20.

Can I rent a one way rental? Yes, check our cheap one way car rentals page for our best one way discounts.

Should I prepay for a rental? At this time we would currently advise against it. Some agencies have said they will refund but it is much easier to cancel a non prepaid reservation.

Do you recommend wiping down rental cars? Yes, even though agencies say they are doing it extra precautions can not hurt.
